I dunno, magic eraser....I used it once on a colored leather sofa, it removed the pen mark, but also some of the pinkish color of the leather! If it.is natural (no color) leather you may be ok. Whatever you try, I would do a tiny test area first.

Yes, I would definitely try it on a inconspicuous spot first...But like I said it has never removed the color on my couches. They are a cream but definitely not white, so it would be obvious if color came off.

I wouldn't try to clean it at all. I would have it professionally cleaned, after informing the parents that they will be paying for it to be cleaned.

          Exactly this

But if not, saddle soap will remove it if it's regular ink (not permanent ink).

This is exactly what I was thinking.
If sa child old enough to know better, rather than you possibly causing more damage by trying different things, I would have a professional clean it and charge the parents.
In my policies, normal wear and tear of things is covered, but if a child willfully/purposefully destroys something, then the parents are responsible. I personally would not leave my leather car seat to chance. Make them pay, and then the parents can find a suitable punishment at home to make sa pay them back for it.
