    WWYD?? Term?

I have an opportunity to replace the DCF that I have been having all sorts of issues with.

They just don't get it. Monday's pick up is 4 & DCD strolls in a few after 4 & says he has been home working on yard work all day! Ok YOU ARE LATE!!!!! Fees don't work- they don't care.

Now the DCK is a great kid (aren't they always??) but I have an opportunity to replace him w/ 2 DCK's only 3 days per week with a 4p pick up.

Plus it's more $$ (not much but less days & about $50 more per week).

So what would you do?? The DCF is nice, but they just don't get it and I have tried to help them understand, but if its not one thing its another.

I hate to come on here and gripe all of the time.
I am just looking for advice. Thanks!

If a family is stressing you out and you cant come to a solution then yes, replace them. It is possible that you trade one family with issues for another but at least you will be working less days and making more money which might help make it worthwhile, if the new family is troublesome. plus now is a good time to increase late fees. Up them until the parents do not want to risk the fee. What is it currently?

      BYE!!!!!!!

I know it's always hard to let a kiddo go, especially a good one - but being a childcare provider is already a really challenging and stressful job, so any unecesssary stress you can eliminate you should!
