Ugh 4 yr old with diaper rash

Ugh my potty training woes with my 4year old DCG strikes again.

So today we have had a pretty mellow day. Just typical normal routine for us.

Well about 10min ago I start to smell something. I ask who pooped... I start to do a check and I discover that it was my 4 year old DCG.

I have no clue when she pooped in her pull up. It was so caked on and old. She now has a really bad rash because of it. It was not a huge amount, perhaps this is why I did not smell it while they were napping.

So it either happened before nap or during nap? At this age would you think that there is just something not right about this?????

I just don't understand why this child will not tell me when they poop in their pants ever and will continue to lie about it........?????????????

oh no...this child does this daily haS no shame in her game....she sits in her pee all day to if I would let her......

is this the bribery girl. This is getting out of hand with her. I wonder what would happen if you didn't change her and sent her home like this. I don't know what to tell you. I know some of you don't agree with punishment, but I think at this point she needs to be punished for doing this, its clear that she knows what she is doing, and the fact that she is lying is not good.

the mom and I did come to an agreement thagt she would be held responsible for her actions and clean up after herself. She does not care.

we also told her that using the toilet is not an option and that she has to use the toilet. But she will only do it when told and its very hit or miss. SHe is not allowed to do anything until she uses the toilet. SO if she is playing she can't continue playing until she uses the toilet.

I do agree that this is more of a power trip than anything I am going to get through xmas with this and if it's not resolved I am throwing in the towel....
