I make great food for the kids and I can get most of them to always eat and enjoy, or at least try the foods I serve. But what do you do with kids that simply clench their jaw shut and turn their head away? I'm talking like a 24 and 30 month old.
I mean, I can't pry their jaw open and shove it in. One girl is new, been here a month or less, 24months old. She comes in with pop tarts, cheeze its, etc. in the morning and I'm sick of it. I'm sitting here with organic scrambled eggs, wheat toast, kiwi, and she doesn't want to eat any of it because she's working on her chocolate pop tart....
So I'm going to have to put a stop to it.
So I guess I have 2 questions:
1. How do you get a kid with bad eating habits from home to at least take a bite of a vegetable at my house when all they do is clamp down and turn away?
2. Should I just take the bad breakfast away as soon as mom leaves and stick it back in her bag. Throw it away. Or tell mom do not send snacks to my house in morning?
