    New Crib Standards

In the process of becoming a registered in home daycare, I have been given notice that my infant has to be placed in a "compliant crib"..........does anyone know if this means that I cannot have pnplays at all? Or that IF I have a crib it has to meet standards. Thanks

You can still use PNP's, but if using a crib, it must be a new one that meets the latest safety regs.

The crib must have a sticker on it from the manufacturer showing it is compliant and showing the date it was made.

Some other threads about new crib standards. Some include the link to the CPSC site

Introduce yourself. Find out how to use your account and forum features. Who are you? Why do you do/use daycare? What brought you here? What kind of daycare are you associated with?

In my state, cribs have to have a label with the date they were manufactured and.a certificate of compliance. I got the certificate by calling the distributer (ECMD) and requesting it, they emailed it to me immediately. Easy as pie.
