Sneezes On Food Everyday!

I thought it was just me but today, the odd who is home everyday at lunch said "seriously ** sneezes every single day on their food."

My reply, "this is why I can't serve family style as they would contaminate everyone elses food."

The child never covers their mouth or nose. Never, know matter how much/many times I show them. I have started having their food on the table and have them sit first so they can sneeze and get it over with. Then I put everyone elses food on the table and call them.

Anyone else have a child like this?

I would have him sit at a table by himself until he learns to turn his head away from the table and cover his mouth when he sneezes. That is disgusting and NOT acceptable. There is no way I'd have him eating near the other children.

I even had to tell the food program lady this is why I can't serve family style.

Been working on cover your mouth/nose for over a year-nothing.

If he doesn't know how to turn his head away to sneeze or cover when coughing, I am guessing everyone is already exposed and contaminated with his germs.

Yes, but just to eat food someone has sneezed on, is just gross. Especially right in front of me and knows its wrong. Every single day! Did it right away at snack time too. Its everytime we sit down at the table to eat-:confused:
