I know we talked about cups recently and many don't use sippy cups but for those who do use them - are there ANY that don't leak?????? I am getting so tired of these leaking cups!! My group is young - 2 and under - most use the playtex straw cups - the milk seems to stay up in the straw part and they leak. A younger one has one with 2 handles and a soft spout - that leaks. I have not seen a spill proof cup yet that doesn't spill.
Is There A Spill Proof Cup That Doesn't Leak???

In my experience the cups with a hard spout do the best job of no leakage. I hate the straw spouts for exactly the reason you stated! Pressure builds up inside the cups and forces the liquid to come up out of the straw. Drives me crazy.- Flag

I use these. If a child bangs the cup REALLY hard then they can work the valve loose, but I only had one child that ever did that. These are the only sippy cups I buy now. They're super cheap too, about $1!

I LOVE these new cups. They are the only ones I found that don't leak even after lots of uses. A lot of the other ones either the valvue comes off or the slit gets bigger. They are the munchkin click lock cups. I have never had one leak yet and I think I bought like 10 of them since they came out a few months ago.- Flag

Anyone have any tips on how to stop the kids from biting on the tops of the sippy cups? You know the part that goes in their mouth. They have ruined so many of my cups doing that.- Flag

thanks for all the links - I think with all the talk of dentists recommendations everyone prefers the straw cups so that is what parents bring/use.
My one that has the handle cup is a Nuby and it leaks terribly. It may not be the newest ones - has a soft spout, no valve. The spout is a pain to get into the lid of the cup and if you turn it upside down its a long stream that comes out, then will stop but turn it upside down again 2 seconds later and another long stream of milk comes out. He then tries to "wipe" it and smears it all over the table or floor or whatever. Driving me nuts!- Flag
