To be honest, I don't even really know the proper thing to do for the older kids when we walk. Should I attach a rope to the stroller and have them hold that so I know where they are? they tend to just sort of dilly around and do their own thing, which is okay for most of the walk since it's a private trail, but it's getting to the trail and back again that I need to keep them in check.
This is what I do. Rope tied to stroller, all the walkers hang on to the rope. If anyone lets go, we stop until they get back on the rope. We are usually going somewhere fun, so everyone tends to listen well.

Otherwise, I've pushed a stroller while pulling a wagon, if I had too many that weren't able to walk that far.

There was a time when I would even push 2 strollers - side by side, with one hand on each - that was a work out!!

There have been times in my life when I've fantasied about getting a quad stroller, but I would need it for such a short time spand before the kids could walk on their own, that it would just eat up space in my garage. I've never found a good enough price on one to make that leap.

No worries..... Old thread often have pertinent and/or helpful info in them so it's all good.

It's only when someone (unregistered or registered) comes into an old thread just to make a negative or useless comment that it is unnecessary, otherwise....don't worry about the date of threads....

ANY and ALL info is a good thing.
