    ummmm ok?

I posted my services on a facebook group formoms and babies etc. And i get a reply that says I have some queetions can you please text me at her number. So i texted her that i was the lady from fb and i offer child care. What days or hours are you needing care. She asks me what my rates are (i had posted them in my "ad"). I tell her and ask how old her child is. She tells.me 1.5. I respond asking if she needs full.or.part time care.

Get this. She says, i dont know yet?

Ummmm. Ok... So what am i suppose.to say to that????

I replied. Ok. If you have any other questions, feel.free to.ask.

This is the second person ive "talked" to that has told me this. Im all about finding care when youre looking for a job or whatever, but could she be more vague? Give me something! Like oh i am looking for work and just trying to set something up or whatever but nope. Just im not sure and nothing else????

Has anyone else gotten these responses? I mean if it was someone trying to do.rate comparisons id understand But my rates are POSTED! i dont want to waste your time or mine ao in every ad or post they are listed. So what is going on???

a lot of times this is because they want part time care but dont want to pay the full time rate....they are fishing for someone to accommodate their hours or days. or they havent found a job yet. I do see this thing a lot so its better to say what you do offer and either that is something that works for them or its not. I also dont offer info over texts. Emails or phone calls are much more professional so you can ask what you need to ask and not go back and forth with short messages and things possibly lost in translation. You can have a ready paragraph about what times and days are available.
