Going back to school send-off

Do any of you do something special for the SA-ers that are heading back to school or starting K?
I have 3 boys that will be going off to school on the 16th. One will be starting 2nd grade, while the other two are going to Kindy. I will not be caring for them except for school breaks and holidays, if needed. It's not as if I will not see them ever again, since their families are close friends of ours and I am certain we will have lots of playdates in the future. I would like to do something a little extra for them as a send off. (They drive me nuts, but I love the little buggers. )

I have a bowling party each year to send my kids of to kindergarten. AMF has free summer bowling for kids, so you just have to pay for shoes. happyface

we are doing a little carnival and picnic lunch.

For my little ones starting kindergarten...we have a graduation cookout at one of my families homes and I give the kids an LL Bean back pack with their name on it for school.
