I really HATE to use them but everytime I do they all seem to behave so much better? I will use them occasionally if we have a certain thing that is becoming a problem, like being quiet at nap. Once most of the kids have filled the chart I will start doing it every other day or just once or twice a week, until I don't do it anymore. Then a few weeks later they have nap problems again. I reward with different things each time we do a chart, last time it was a popcicle at snack when other's had the regular snack, before that was a sheet of stickers. So nothing big that they are getting.
U G G!! Should I just use them or does anyone have some advice for listening to directions that will stick? It's like one does it and they all follow (except for a few but it's never the same few). My group consists of one 5y old, three 4y olds, and four 3.5 year olds.
I have new kids coming this fall and some leaving so I'd like the current kids that are staying to not teach these new ones the behavior problems.
