We have rounded corners.
We actually ddin't like them much, because they are a pain to blend corners when you are painting. But now I realize I am glad we have them! No wear at all after 3 yrs of daycare!- Flag

my parents have them, but they had them for years. Can you put wood trim around the openings, like moldings you put around doors. and paint them white, that would look nice and they wouldn't look so daycarish.- Flag

We looked at a house that had clear ones that were screwed into the wall, and honestly they didn't look bad at all. i actualy really liked them and have been thinking for awhile of getting them. Especially now that I'm taking on an infant. I think I'm just going to go ahead and get them. For me the wood trim wouldn't work because my entry ways and edges of my hall goes up to the ceiling so it would look weird. The trip would have no where to go on top. The guards I saw went up to about chair height and I really liiked them. I think I'll check out home depot and try them out... After I fix the corners LOL
How did you get the corners to look sharp? Mine don't have a nice "point" if that makes sense.- Flag
