Some of you may remember the DCG whose parents had been forcing her into potty training ever since the day (literally!) that she turned two. She was about as ready as a newborn and it caused everyone a lot of stress and grief.
She was "potty trained" at home for a long time (read: parents took her and made her sit until she went every thirty minutes, poor thing)
Well, back in June, she all of a sudden was potty trained--REALLY potty trained. I never changed anything that I did...she was just ready. Proving as usual that kids will train when they are ready and not a moment before.
Sadly her parents think that it took her a 16 months to train. They don't realize that it took her about two weeks--when she was ready.
