    Ikea?

Ikea keeps comming up for me. I'm reading it here, and various friends have mentioned it at different times the past 2 weeks. I wonder if this is a sign that I need to drive downtown and check it out.
Is their stuff really that good? Ive been there before but that was WAY before kids were in my life, haha

I love Ikea. I bought an easil for $15, the paper roll to go with it for $5, a set of child utencils (forks, knives, spoons) 6 of each for $3, 6 plates for $2, 6 cups for $2, 6 bowls for $2, three high-chairs for $20 each and a bunch of wooden toys for under $7 each.

In August I'm planning another Ikea trip to replace the kids utencils and dishes (I've had mine for several years and I'm missing a few), to get a few new toys and to get a new table and chair set. We'll see how that goes, I never leave with only what's on my list. I always buy more than I intend .

I love Ikea! It's about 30 minutes away from me though, so when I go, we make a 1/2 day of it. How far away are you from it?

Things I LOVE there (for the kids)

The little washcloths with the colored loops. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40054538/

            The high chairs. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70146792/

The Fleece baby blankets (too hot in the summers though) http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80164766/

            These bowls. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30145332/

BEST part of our whole daycare room. I have three of these. The kids kind of use the buckets, but mostly, they use the top as a long play surface. It's strong enough to hold all the kids on top of it, and light enough to move it fairly easily. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49871290/

Then, I did my whole pantry in these things. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/?query=jars

craigs list is a great place to find gently used Ikea stuff. I buy mine mostly off of craigs list and I love it, because I HATE having to put anything together....

I just bought this great wardrobe closet off of craigs list and it looks brand new. I paid $75.00, ikea sells it for $249.99. AND best of all, I didn't have to build it...

I love Ikea's stuff. Bought Ikea furniture over 20 years ago (before moving to the US) and it is still going strong!
