Only Take Kids Your Own Kids Ages?

I currently have a 3 yr old and 6 month old. I have been thinking lately, as we put away the really little infant things (swings, bumbo etc) and get out infant toys for movers, that once my child ages up I will no longer take babies. Lots of providers only take kids 2 and up around here and I'm thinking it will be nice to get rid of the baby stuff for good and focus my daycare on preschool when my kids (littlest especially) are in preschool.

Has anyone done this? Stop taking the littles once their own kids are bigger, to provide more focus on things your own kids like to do?

I stopped taking nfants about 10 years in but not because my own children were aging but because I found infants to be too much work. I had no on eunder age 2 for many many years.

I stopped taking SA children about 1.5-2 years ago and am now enrolling infants once again, but ONLY ones that are siblings to kids I already have in care.

I have stopped taking infants only because I prefer older kids and have had some tough babies in the past....not at all interested in repeats of some of the high needs cryers I have had. I prefer 18 months or older but will take ONE baby at a time if I absolutely have to.
