Taking A Day Or 2 Off For No Reason

No appt's, no nothing, just a day or two off for you to get things done and to take a break.

of course, its called a stay-cation and I will be taking one in April nothing planned, not going anywhere, just closing for a few days rest

I dont usually do a random day or two. But next week is my "staycation". I am taking my vacation week to relax at home. Get caught up on some half finished projects. I even got a sitter for my 16 mos DD during the day for M-F. My hobby is geneology so I am going to go into DC and do some research at the National Archives. Take naps. sit at a coffee shop and people watch. Go grocery shopping in the middle of the day. Oh this week is going to the longest week EVVVVVEEEERRRR!::

Stay--cation

I don't just take days off for no reason, but I would love to. A stay--cation sounds amazing! We normally drive 6 hours to our lake house on Table Rock for Memorial weekend. I'm considering just staying home and doing nothing instead. I might definitely do that because we're leaving for vacation in Chicago in mid-June, so I could use some just sitting time.

Staycations!!

We have 2 weeks paid vacation each year, one in the summer and one in the winter. We spend our winter break on an actual vacation away and the summer break at home... getting done the millions of things we can't seem to get done the rest of the year ::

MrsB, I would love for you to share your findings! Have you ever seen that show "Who do you think you are?". I'd love to do genealogy, just not my own, ha ha! As far as I know, I am related to a lot of dead beats, losers and criminals.

Im taking off tomorrow for my bday. I am going to go take my almost last test for my degree.

Reminds me.....who LOVES that Swiffer commercial where the mom picks up the book and says "Im gonna read one of these!" and runs around telling everyone! Thats me!!!!!
