Today I only had 3 children for the morning, plus my homeschooled son. So, we took a spontaneous field trip to the Necedah Wildlife Refuge.
I put my 2 toddlers on their new harnesses, and they did so well! They really enjoyed it, too. We just went into the refuge headquarters building, and they have a bunch of animals on display and cool things to touch. The staff was swell (we were the only ones there, and I came in with TWINS...
).
After a long winter of being stuck inside too much (and this was a mild winter), and dealing with a lot of behavioral stuff (which has really improved), I finally get to have some fun!happyfacehappyface
Afterwards, we stopped by my husbands car dealership (yes, I'm married to a used car salesman
), and he brought us out some freshly baked cookies.
