I don't go to birthday parties of the kids. BTDT and learned the hard way that I should not go anymore.
I do buy gifts, we play old school games like pin the tail and musical chairs. American games I love them.
We sing, we dance and we have cake and ice cream. All of the kids get goodie bags and we all paint our faces or do temp tattoos.
I love me some bdays....
