Mini-Vent/ Mom is Late (Again)

Mom is now going on 15 minutes late (again), picking up my last dcb of the day.

aaaaaaand.... he just spilled the dried rice and bean sensory bin all over my kitchen floor, beyond the protective tarp. Can't wait to clean that out of the cracks between my wood floors.

That is all, just had to share with others who can appreciate the situation.

That stinks...especially when they are late and something like that happens. Can't help but be extra irritated when the rice would never have been spilled at all if she had been on time. I hope that DCM showed up quick after you got done writing this and that the rice cooperates and can be picked up easily.

Yah, I gotta get a backbone about charging late fees..today ALL three kids parents were late picking up, one about 3 min, one about 4 min, the other 8 min..I feel like I am being ridiculous charging for a couple min and most of the time all but one family is great about not being late at all...but the one dcf is always like 5 min late and then want to hang out and chat and visit for another 5 before getting out!
