57 here (Illinois). The fish in my pond keep swimming to the top looking for food, I guess they think it's spring . For anyone who doesn't know, you don't feed pond fish at all during the fall and winter - they go into some kind of hibernation type thing and don't eat.

I want winter too! We finally got some snow and now it's all melting away. Yesterday the new snow was so much fun to play in and today we made a snowman. With all the building snow hills and the snowman I can see grass once again This has been a sad winter for us. I'm thinking of buying a snow making machine for next year just in case.

After last year's snow albut killing us, hubby and I bought a NICE snowblower - had it shipped from Wisconsin to the tune of $800.00. We're still paying for it (0% financing for 12 months so I'm paying $80.00 per month for it.)

I guess it was the best insurance policy for no snow this year. Harumph!

It was a beautiful day though. The Kadiddles loved playing on the playground and for once it wasn't freezing for us supervisors.

Central Va. 69 degrees. 55 or above half the days of this month. I bought a new coat this year and have worn it all of 5 times. We haven't had a stitch of snow since this time last year

It was 73º here today, Beautiful. And I didn't have a single dck to go outside and play with-wasted a perfect day. The overnight low is going to be 60º, but we will have overnight lows in the 30's by the weekend.
