Less Than A Week Until My Vacation!

We leave on Friday night and will be driving to Minesota and staying until the 16th! So looking forward to it. Hopefully I will be able to get a lot of packing done this week!

Well, so far it is nice up here.....today's temp is 30F and the 10 day forcast shows temps staying in the mid 20ies to lower 30ies.

I also checked the long range forecast and it looks pretty much the same for most of your vacation so

With temps like that, the worst that can happen is snow!

Just realized I spelled Minnesota wrong in my OP. Oops!!

I bought myself some gloves and a hat over the weekend! I even washed my car

I am just worried about ice.. I'm not used to driving in ice (or snow) so hopefully it stays away!!

Living in Arizona has made me realize just how nice Minnesotans are. Especially on the road.

The main highways are pretty ice free when it gets warmer out.....plus our state uses road salt like most people use table salt! LOL!!

If you are going to a pretty populated area, our state is awesome about keeping the roads free of snow/ice and traveling is pretty safe unless you are planning a bit of backroad site seeing...

You will probably need you hat and mittens....I have stopped wearing mine since it is so warm here... (I've only had to wear my winter coat twice this year so far)

It was 41 here in southern MN today
The snow is melting fast-not much left. The 10 day forecast for my area shows no snow! Have a good trip, safe travels, and enjoy!
I'm counting down my vacation in Aug to San Diego!!! Can't wait!

Have a wonderful time up here! I've already been scouring the countryside for ***** willows. My record of finding them is Feb 2 - this year has been pretty warm, so I'm hopeful!

                    Enjoy the trip!

I hate that - I forgot you couldn't spell the little guys out because it would be censored. You know the little white fuzzy things that grow on little willow bushes and are the first harbinger of spring????!!!!!????? Maybe I should start calling them little baby kitten willows??????? I guess I'd be more politically correct, huh???? ROFL!!!!

My mom is going to fly my DS home to me 5 days after we leave to come back so we don't have to rush and we can rest before we both go back to reality on Monday. I'm so sad I won't see him for 5a days (except on Skype). He will be 12 months old in the 15th

HA! If you live in WI, that's the only thing (well except the Vikings) you don't like about the Minnesotans. Sorry, Cat, but most of your state-mates don't know what a passing lane is!

On the other hand, I prefer them to the driver's from another neighboring state, which I won't mention, because those people are AGGRESSIVE, man! I mean, they're real bears!
