My 2 yr old had some bad bum rash due to a recently discovered food allergy and thanks to my mothers advice we tried Dreft powder laundry soap in the tub. We only put in enough water to soak the legs and bottom and were careful to not let him splash or get it in his face. One soak and totally cured! Obviously this shouldn't be used on dck but you could share the advice with dcf when a little one needs help. Or for use on your own kids. I didnt believe it would work but I guess the soap helps to dry while soothing the area.
