My daughter just returned back to school. Last week she had a stomach virus...she throw up once and then was fine. It turned out that I only had one child that day which is my drop in for care...mom was awesome and understood and did decide to bring her son to work with her. She owns her own company so she's able to do that...
Well last night DD comes into my room and throw up all over me and my husbands bed...poor girlie!! We where up for hrs cleaning the bed and putting her in the bath and getting up with her to throw up again. It turns out again I only have 1 child for today...same drop in. Feel awful to tell her again that my DD is sick. The flip side. My husband has been working with this family off and on helping them out at there office...he's still looking for perminate work...they won't really offer him anything perminate there either but it's something while he gets his contractors lic. to do remodels. He's been biding jobs and have gotten a few already that are finished already. It's slow but it's picking up. This mom though is still going to bring her son over even knowing that my child has the stomach flu. Hopefully no one gets it...I did warn them. This thing supposedly is catchy bc I know of a lot of families that it is spreading like a wild fire!
Now mind you...I do not get paid when a child isn't in my care...so it's a total loss when I am sick or my family is. I always give the parents notice to tell me if they want to keep there child home or bring them. I try to seclude mine but my daughter is bouncing around the house as if she was never sick...drives me batty!
