    MN Infant question

Silly question....I have an infant (8 mos) in my care. Can be in a room in a crib out of my sight? It is 10 feet away from me. There is just too much stimulation in the main dc room and baby is needing some cio time. I don't use monitors.
I can sure still hear baby:confused:

Need to be able to either hear or see. Should be fine, no need for a monitor, you can hear baby without one. Also, I believe they want us visualizing baby every 10 or 15 minutes.

The crib can be in another room for naps (or trying to nap ). You just have to check on him/her every ten minutes. I leave the door shut but all the way so that when I check on the baby, the door doesn't make any noise in the latch. I also have a baby monitor for when he's making noise. I turn it off when he's crying just because I can hear him from the other room and don't need it amplified.
