    would you call or wait

I had an inquiry Monday night through email for care so I emailed them back Monday night. I haven't heard anything. Her cell phone was listed under her name so should I call today incase she didn't get my email or assume she isn't interested anymore.

I don't want to seem deperate by calling....

I never call or follow up.

If they are interested they will contact me. If they lose the spot due to dragging their feet, then that proves to me that they would probably be flaky clients.

It irritates when I make an inquiry and then the people call me when I didn't ask them to.

I was interested in a car once and called the dealership to ask questions. I ended up choosing a different car. But the first one kept up his "courtesy calls" until I was sick of them. If I had wanted his car, I would have called HIM!

I make sure at first phone call, that I make it clear it is first come first served and that my spots go fast.

I stopped doing any follow ups.

I return calls, I return e-mails, but I always let the next step be their's.

I usually make contact via email or call ONCE!

More than likely they won't answer because they don't know the number you are calling from.

        Just say something like:

"Hi. This is (name) from (name of daycare.) I received email correspondense that you are interested in receiving information about the services I provide.

I can be reached at (telephone number.)

All openings are on a first come/first serve basis. If you are interested in scheduling an interview/tour, call me anytime during business hours.

        Thank you for your time."
