    Feel-good e-mail.

I had a lady e-mail me Monday after having found my website. She asked if I had any openings for her 5 month old, which I do not. But after a bit of correspondence she goes on to tell me how "bummed" she is/was, that I seemed perfect and she was very impressed with what she saw on my website and how it's "a good thing you're at capacity" because that means the parents and children like me, etc.. Made me feel good. happyface

      your website is great!!

very clean and professional! easy to read and I LOVE the FAQ list!

It does feel good to hear positive things from parents or prospective clients. I think it's really important because we get kicked a lot by other parents or people throughout our days that make us start to wonder sometimes If we are doing the right thing.

Good job! Glad to hear that you are full

Well 2 of the 5 are mine, so haha. But I could technically take 2 more over age 5, but choose not to at the moment.

I am also lic for 8. 6 not enrolled in school, but I only take 6. IME school agers and toddlers don't mix well. Plus I do a preschool program, so I don't have a set up for them.

I used to coach youth sports. One year I did 5-8 years old. NEVER let me say NEVER again will I touch that age. They need too much adult....

as a favor to a friend of my daughters, i watched her friends little brother for a few hours. I think he was about 7 or 8.

              He drove me insane.....

every two seconds, im bored, this is lame, this is baby stuff.

Of course my preschoolers started walking around going..."this is lame, this is dumb, etc....

One of the mom's came to pick up her two year old and he says to his mom
              No shoes, shoes are lame..

I told her it was a one time deal and never again....

...I would have to sadly agree....

Don't get me wrong, I am sure there are some SA's that are sweet and kind, I just have yet to meet one.

Yeah I get what you're sayin. Heck, even i was a pesky shool ager. But anyways, I'm glad my current daycare parents are great. I wouldn't trade them for the world!!! And their kids are (mostly) great too! I think I lucked out to have my first two families be so wonderful!
