Mom dropped little boy off this morning and rushed out the door as fast as she could which is pretty unusual for her. It was around 8:00 when she dropped off and I was super busy getting breakfast on the table and seeing my own kids off to school. I don't normally get around to checking diapers until at least 9 or 9:30 unless we smell one and then we will go ahead and change the poopy diaper. Well all my kids were in circle time at 9 and they caught a smelly one. I pick him up to change him and he has it running out of both sides of the diaper and down his pant legs. I am so ticked. His diaper was soaked. I'm positive she didn't change him before she brought him this morning. If she had changed him I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have leaked out. Would you say something to her at pick up and if so how would you say it? I don't want to be mean but at the same time I don't want this happening again.
speaking of overnight diapers...

I would mention it as casually as possible with a big smile on your face.
"I noticed Jimmy was really wet this morning...late start huh?! It was pretty messy, so if you could make sure to change him real fast before you get here, I'd really appreciate it. Love your new shoes!"
She'll know you saw and will get the hint.
If she doesn't...then be more direct. "I can't take Jimmy in the morning if he is soaking wet"- Flag
