I'm babysitting a 4 year old former neighbour's son. It started just for 2 to 3 hours a day when they were my neighbour. They moved to a new house and starting July I babysat the boy for up to 8 hours per day for the whole week. I live in Washington. Do I need to get a license here in Washington to babysit a child in my home? I have a 4 years old granddaughter who lives with us and I babysit her together with my former neighbour's son. Also, I just moved here last year from Canada. Do I pay taxes for babysitting? I would appreciate any advice.
