    I give one folder...you lose, destroy or don't bring it back...your kid brings their papers home in a stapled bunch. Honestly, I don't think its asking to much to take the papers/projects out of the folder and hand it back to me once a week. Its also not hard to find a bag you're not using and let your kid carry it around....but hey, thats why I'm here. To care about stuff like that
    I like that stapling idea! Keeps everything together and gives the parents a clue....(well, maybe).

      My kids can do this if we are inside.....but we go outside every afternoon unless it's raining. I got tired of chasing papers.

      I have some parents that adore everything....and some that never empty the backpack. I had one mom in a place that I used to work throw her kids stuff away right there in the classroom right in front of her kid.
