Sand for Sandbox

The other sandbox question got me thinking. I'm about to buy sand for a little sandbox i have and I read somewhere that some of the sand sold in stores has warning labels on it, saying it is known to cause cancer or something. Have any of you looked into this? Bought a certain type of sand that is better than others?

Guess I was not aware of the sand that says it causes cancer.

I buy 50lb bags of sand from home depot. I believe it says play sand on the bag...it cost about $6.00 a bag

Just by the bag labeled "play sand". If it says it may cause cancer....it's not for the sand box

I "buy" sifted sand that they use for golf courses. Nice sand and clean too!
