I have had this 13 month old since she was a newborn. she was just the sweetest, easiest little baby ever. Then we had some crying issues, she didn't want to be held she was just crying during nap and if she was not allowed to go somewhere (like came upon a closed door or gated area). Now all that is under control but she is just grumpy all the time. Not crying but definitely not smiling, not laughing, not seeming to enjoy anything. I put her in the swing outside (which is THE coolest thing as far as the other kids are concerned) and she just sits in there with a scowl on her face like "what else is there to do?" I have yet to see any activity or toy or person really get her out of that attitude. Do you think this is a phase or just her personality? Its not new but getting worse as time goes on. She even frowns between bites of food. She does have sleeping issues at home and mom has tried to cut naps here. I told her no, tweaked a few things within reason but I still don't think she is getting enough sleep overall thanks to what the parents are doing at home. So maybe grumpy means tired for her?
Is There Anything You Can Do With A Little Kid That Has A Sour Attitude All The Time?
