A PT/drop in family that I am caring for while I fill in FT slots has tried binging their daughter three weeks in a row and I tell them every time "you can't bring her until you have the health eval filled out by a pediatrician and a vaccine report". And every week they act like it's brand new information.

Needless to say, I'm glad they won't be FT, and that I can just stop bothering with them soon.

I am not an infant person, and for the last two years I've had infants out the wazoo. I am so done.

Baby woke after a 2 1/2 hour nap happy. Took bottle, changed. Within a half an hour the whining starts. Then she's crawling after me crying. I've sat down to play with her and she was okay (still whiney but not all out crying). As soon as I get up (I'm trying to get kids ready to leave, clean up from snack, etc) it's back to crying. She's clean, fed, and napped. I am DONE

            Sick Kids

Why it is always the same family that starts the illnesses? Last Friday siblings were both coughing a bit when they arrived and again during quite time. It was a deep nasty cough, but not consistent enough to exclude. Today, almost everyone is coughing. This family almost ALWAYS starts the illnesses...pink eye, stomach bugs, HFM, colds, viruses. Seriously, they start everything! I even had another mom comment, "Those damn "Smith's"" because she knew where the illness started. And they never keep the kids home, I always have to call for pick up. My conclusion is their diet at home must be terrible!

Oh nooooooo. Dependent, clingy, unhappy babies are the pits.

Any guesses who I had to send home for possible HFM?! Dad said when he picked up "Yeah, she had fever the other night, but was acting fine." No one told me she had a fever!

UGH! I went through that last week. Parents kept kid home Tuesday had a fever. Then sent Wednesday cause he was fine. He had a rash the next day.
                    4 other kids have/had it.
The last one is feeling better and be back tomorrow. His older brother has it now. Im gonna tell her to keep him home rest of the week. Sorry but i do not want it back here.

17 month old and 15 month old constantly taking toys from each other. 7 month old won't nap. Ugh I want today to be over.

My 2 youngest, 5 mo and 13 mo, didn't nap yesterday afternoon, at all. Thankfully, lots of cuddling helped with the 13 mo and the 5 mo is super good anyways. But it does make the day go by so slow when we get no break to speak of. I hope the 13 mo feels better today because ordinarily she's a great little sleeper.

Hell, I've dealt with that when kids were 16-18 months; I actually had a few moms breakdown in a river of tears when their littles wanted to stay here & not go home. One clung on to me so tight it took us 5 minutes to pry him loose

Dcd does NOT want to question the late fees I'm charging after the way today went.

                                Snow / cold weather.

Small vent it got cold I put off buying my son's winter boots cause I thought I had some stored away. But when I checked this week nope nothing in his size. So I was going to wait till this weekend. But it got cold last night now around -15 c. So I'm being lazy skipping walk to school and keeping him home for the day. Last thing I want to do is send him without the right stuff for the day. The only reason I even thought to keep him home is cause it's Jr. Kinder and he is only 4. So even if I give him rain boots with e tra socks, I know my kid it just would not work out without extra work for his teacher who already has 25 kids between her and a ECE teacher. But I'm down 2 kids today (sisters with the flu), so at least my day is s bit lighter.
