Attendance On School Days

I want a policy for school-age kids when school is in session but the child is not at school.

I don't keep school-age anymore.....haven't for years!

I know, but I thought you may have had the rule before. I know I have read it somewhere.

The reason behind this is a parent wants to enroll her Preschool (M-Th) child on Fridays but asked if he could come as a drop-in on non-school days. I said yes but then I thought, yes but not on days that the child should be in school. (like in case he was sick or kicked out)

when I had schoolers they paid for the week like everyone else even if they got on/off the bus only. I never offered a 'by the day' thing as they took a spot like everyone else....I am allowed 15 max but three of those would have to be school-age. So....

Our school age parents pay regardless of attendence & they pay weekly. We use to offer part-time care but it became to much of a hassle so we quit offering it and only do full time
