I Took Away the Nuk and....

she pushed me! The 16 month old pushed me! WTH?!? She has a 6 year old brother (who doesn't come here btw). Bet that's where he got that from. Needless to say she didn't get anywhere with it, but her actions told me she was definitely trying to shove me. Both arms fully extended.

Any of you have kids who are seriously hooked on the pacifier? It's only the second day with her so obviously she needs some time. But until then....any advice?

    Never. Give. It. Back.

    That's my advice.

Both of my younger boys were very attached to their binkies. 4 yo gave it up at 3 1/2, 3 yo at 3. They were not allowed except at bedtime or long car rides, but never in public, in a store.

I just threw away a cup with 20 binkies in it.

If it's your decision not to have a binkie, stand firm and don't give in, 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.
