I know that I've read that getting non-profit status as a family provider is pretty much a whole lot of effort and not feasible just for the sake of getting grants.
Is it hard for a GROUP of providers to do it as a support group?
We have a local provider support group. If we became a non-profit, we could then apply for some of these grants. My understanding is, though, that it's not an easy process.
