How to keep track ?

I was wondering for those of you who have county pay and private pay..how to do you keep track of your private pay ? One of the county pay just went private, and Im not sure how to keep track..Or if you have a Calendar Keeper do you use that ? Just looking for some idea's this is my first private pay..so Im kinda lost Thanks everyone !
